Toolkit Creation Plan

Students will practice two self-calming strategies—belly breathing and counting to four—to manage strong feelings and will create a personalized calm-down kit to support emotional self-management.

Early practice of self-management and mindfulness equips young children with tools to regulate big emotions, build responsibility, and foster a sense of calm and confidence.
