Lesson Plan

Mood Detectives Plan

Students will learn to identify and express their emotions using visual supports and practice self‐regulation strategies like breathing and coping signals to manage feelings.

Helping 3rd graders recognize and communicate emotions builds self‐awareness, reduces meltdowns, and strengthens classroom community; visual tools ensure that non‐verbal learners fully participate.
