Lesson Plan

Mirror My Emotions Plan

Students will identify and label four basic emotions—happy, sad, mad, and scared—by observing themselves and peers in handheld mirrors, strengthening self-awareness and emotion vocabulary.

Recognizing and naming emotions builds critical self-regulation and social skills at an early age, helping children understand themselves and empathize with others.
