Lesson Plan

Mirror Game Guide

Students will identify and label four basic emotions—happy, sad, mad, and scared—using facial cues through a mirror game, building early vocabulary and self-awareness.

Building emotional vocabulary and self-awareness helps Pre-Kers understand their feelings, fosters social-emotional skills, and promotes empathy as they recognize emotions in themselves and peers.
