Step 1

Material Distribution

  • Hand out 28 plastic cups to each participant.
  • Ensure every student has their materials before proceeding.

Step 3

Game: Stack Attack

40 mins

  • Explain the rules of the game:
    1. Each student will have one minute to stack the cups into a pyramid and then back into a single stack.
    2. The student with the fastest time (under one minute) wins.
    3. If there's extra time, students can compete in pairs or small groups.
  • Start the timer and begin the first round.
  • Monitor the game, providing encouragement and ensuring fair play.
  • Repeat the rounds until each student has had multiple turns.

  • Distribute the 'Stack Attack Reflection' worksheet.
  • Ask students to reflect on their experience: what strategies worked best, what challenges they faced, and what they enjoyed most.
