Step 1
Introduction
3 minutes
- Gather students in a circle and introduce the activity.
- Explain that they will be making paper snowflakes while practicing mindfulness.
- Discuss the importance of being present and focusing on the task at hand.
Step 2
Mindfulness Breathing Exercise
2 minutes
- Guide students through a short breathing exercise to center their attention.
- Encourage them to take deep breaths in and out, focusing on their breath.
Step 3
Crafting Snowflakes
10 minutes
- Distribute white paper and scissors to each student.
- Demonstrate how to fold and cut the paper to create a snowflake.
- Encourage students to focus on the process and enjoy the creativity.
- Remind them to be mindful of their actions and thoughts as they craft.

- Provide colored pencils or markers for students to decorate their snowflakes.
