Mindful Minutes Plan
Students will learn and practice simple mindfulness techniques—guided breathing exercises and reflective journaling—to build self-regulation skills and reduce anxiety over two 30-minute small-group sessions.
Fourth graders often experience stress and anxiety but lack tools to self-regulate. Introducing quick, accessible mindfulness exercises helps students calm their minds, improve focus, and develop emotional awareness.
