Step 1
Introduction & Hook: What's Your Sound Story?
10 minutes
- Begin by asking students: "What sounds fill your world? How do these sounds make you feel?" (5 minutes)
- Use the first few slides of the Mindful Moment Melodies Slide Deck to introduce the concept of mindfulness and how sound can be a tool for focus and relaxation. Explain that mindfulness is about paying attention to the present moment without judgment. (5 minutes)

- After each sound clip, give students a minute to jot down their observations on their Sound Scape Activity Sheet.
Step 3
Shared Reflections: Hear Me Out
10 minutes
- Facilitate a brief class discussion based on the Sound Scape Activity Sheet. Ask students to share their experiences. (e.g., "What did you notice during the mindful listening? Was it easy or difficult to focus? How did different sounds affect you?").
