Meet Your Counselor

Hi, I’m Ms. Luna!
• I love reading stories
• I enjoy playing soccer

Read aloud and point to the counselor’s picture. Say: “Hello! I’m Ms. Luna. I love reading stories and playing soccer. I’m excited to get to know each of you!”

My Job at School

I am here to:
• Listen to your feelings
• Help you solve problems
• Make you feel safe

Explain each point simply. “When you’re upset, you can talk with me. If friends disagree, I help them solve it. If you feel worried, I listen.”

How I Can Help

You can come see me if you:
• Feel sad or lonely
• Have a problem with a friend
• Need someone to talk to

Highlight each way to help. Ask: “Can anyone think of a time they’d want help?”

Come to the counseling office anytime!
