Interactive TIPP Game

This interactive game encourages small-group collaboration and quick thinking as students apply the TIPP framework to random topics. Working together, students will brainstorm on the spot, craft TIPP structures, and share their creative ideas with their peers.

Game Setup:

  1. Divide the class into small groups of 3-4 students.
  2. Each group selects a team name to enhance engagement.


  3. Provide each group with a surprise topic (you can prepare a list of topics in advance).

Game Rules:

  • Time Limit: Each round lasts 5 minutes. A timer is set to add excitement and encourage quick thinking.
  • Structure: Each group must create a TIPP structure for their assigned topic:
    • Title: A concise title that captures the essence of the topic.


    • Introduction: A brief introduction to the topic, setting the stage for the discussion.


    • Point: A clear statement or main idea related to the topic.


    • Proof: Evidence or examples supporting the point.


  • Collaboration: Students are encouraged to discuss and decide as a group. Each member’s input is valuable.
