Self-Management Rubric
The Self-Management Rubric is designed to assess progress in self-management, executive function, and attentional skills throughout the "Mastering Your Mind: Boosting Self-Management and Focus" lesson. Each criterion is rated on a 4-level scale as detailed below.
Rubric Scoring Levels
- 4 - Exemplary: Consistently demonstrates strong self-management skills. Effectively regulates attention, follows task instructions without reminders, and applies strategies to overcome challenges independently.
- 3 - Proficient: Generally demonstrates good self-management skills with occasional prompts. Mostly maintains focus and completes tasks with minimal support.
- 2 - Developing: Shows emerging self-management skills. Requires frequent reminders to stay on task and may struggle with application of strategies.
- 1 - Beginning: Rarely demonstrates self-management skills. Often off-task, does not follow through on instructions, and needs constant support.
