Lesson Plan

Listen Up! Lesson Plan

Students will identify and practice the four key components of active listening—eye contact, nodding/questions, paraphrasing, and no interruptions—through discussion and role-play to strengthen empathy and communication.

Helping students master active listening boosts empathy, reduces misunderstandings, and builds trust, leading to more positive peer interactions and teamwork in the classroom.
