Listen and Link Lesson Plan

Students will practice attentive listening by hearing a classmate’s short story and then linking that story to their own experience, building focus, comprehension, and social connection.

Attentive listening helps children develop language comprehension, social empathy, and communication skills, fostering stronger connections and better classroom engagement.
