Students will enhance reading and listening comprehension by analyzing sample CVs, then draft their own CV video script and refine it through peer feedback.

Reading Comprehension

15 minutes

  • Distribute the Sample CV Text and the Reading Comprehension Worksheet.
  • Students read individually, underlining unfamiliar vocabulary.
  • In pairs, they answer worksheet questions focused on identifying CV sections, dates, and key achievements.
  • Review answers as a class, clarifying any misunderstandings.

  • Play the CV Presentation Audio Script once without interruption.
  • Students answer questions on the Listening Comprehension Worksheet about the speaker’s background and skills.
  • Play the audio a second time for students to verify or add details.

  • Students brainstorm key points for their own CV (name, studies, achievements, skills).
  • Individually, they draft their video script using the template, focusing on clear language and logical order.
