Let's Make a Class Poster
Students will be able to contribute one idea or drawing to a collaborative class poster illustrating the 3-step strategy.

Step 1
Connect & Activate (1 minute)
1 minute
- Teacher: Begin by asking students if they remember the 3-step strategy we've been learning.
* Teacher: "Today, we're going to create something special together to help us all remember our 3-step strategy!"
Step 2
Introduce & Model (3 minutes)
3 minutes
- Teacher: Introduce the idea of a class poster as a visual reminder. Show the Slide Deck to review the 3-step strategy.
* Teacher: "We're going to make an 'Our Class Strategy Poster' where everyone gets to add one idea or drawing about one of the steps."
* Teacher: Briefly explain the Our Class Strategy Poster Project Guide, emphasizing collaboration and that every contribution is important.
Step 3
Guided Practice (5 minutes)
5 minutes
- Teacher: Hand out drawing materials and assign a section of the poster (or simply let students find a space).
* Teacher: "Think about one of the steps in our strategy. What could you draw or write to remind us of that step? It could be a picture, a word, or a small symbol."
* Students: Work individually to add their contribution to the collaborative poster. The teacher circulates, offering guidance and encouragement, ensuring each student understands their role in the collaborative effort.
* Teacher: Remind students to refer to the Slide Deck as needed for the steps.
Step 4
Share & Reflect (1 minute)

- Teacher: Once everyone has contributed (or time is up), gather students around the poster.
* Teacher: "Look at our amazing poster! How does seeing everyone's ideas help us remember our 3-step strategy?"
* Teacher: Briefly highlight a few student contributions and praise their collaborative spirit.
* Teacher: Explain that the poster will be displayed in the classroom as a constant visual reminder.
