Introduce the slide deck as an exciting adventure into the world of internet safety. Explain that each slide covers a key safety skill that will help them become true Internet Safety Superheroes.

Guard Your Secret Identity

Never share personal information like your full name, address, phone number, or school details online.

Explain that protecting personal information online is like guarding a superhero secret identity. Encourage students to share examples of what personal information might include.

Think Before You Click

Always ask, 'Is this safe?' before clicking links, downloading files, or sharing personal details.

Discuss how before clicking on any link or downloading anything, they should think like a superhero planning their moves. Ask if anyone has experienced something suspicious online.

Be a Respectful Hero

Treat others with respect online. Use kind words and think about how your actions affect others.

Reinforce the importance of being kind and respectful online. Relate it to the superhero code of conduct and how they treat others in their community.

Report Suspicious Activity

If you see something odd or unsafe online, tell a trusted adult right away.

Tell students that part of being a superhero is knowing when to ask for help. Discuss what to do if they see something that doesn't seem right online.
