Welcome Hygiene Heroes! Get ready for a fun, action-packed relay race that will test your knowledge and skills in maintaining good hygiene. This interactive game is designed to reinforce the essential habits we've learned in class. Let's get started!
Game Setup
- Divide the class into two or more teams.
- Set up a start and finish area in your play space.
- Place a set of hygiene task cards at the start line. Each card contains a unique hygiene-related task.
How to Play
- Starting Line: Each team lines up behind the start line.
- First Runner: The first runner from each team picks a hygiene task card from the pile.
- Task Execution: The runner reads the task aloud and then runs to the finish line. At the finish, they perform the task. Tasks may include:
- Simulating brushing your teeth for 10 seconds.
- Pretending to take a shower by mimicking washing movements.
- Acting out applying deodorant (safety first – no actual use required!).
- Return: Once the task is complete, the runner runs back to tag the next teammate.
- Rotation: The next teammate repeats the process with a new task card.
Winning the Game
- The first team to have all members complete a task successfully wins the relay race!
- Emphasize teamwork, cheering, and clean fun.
