Bridge Builders Blueprint

Students will collaborate to design and construct spaghetti-and-marshmallow bridges, practicing active listening, empathy, and clear communication. They will reflect on how empathetic collaboration enhances teamwork and trust.

This lesson builds relationship skills by encouraging students to understand peers’ perspectives, articulate ideas clearly, and adapt based on group input—fostering trust, social awareness, and a supportive classroom community.
