High-Five Hub Lesson Plan

In this daily 10-minute routine, first graders will identify and celebrate classmates’ positive behaviors by giving high-fives and tracking them on tally charts, aiming to ensure each student both gives and receives recognition.

This lesson cultivates a supportive classroom culture by reinforcing positive actions, boosting self-esteem, and promoting social skills through peer acknowledgment. Regular positive reinforcement enhances engagement and encourages continuous prosocial behavior.
