Lesson Plan

Helping Hands Lesson Plan

Students will understand that hands are for helping, not hurting, by identifying kind vs. unkind uses of hands and practicing positive hand actions through discussion, story, song, and role-play.

Teaching kind hand use builds empathy, reduces conflicts, and fosters a caring classroom community. Early SEL skills support social and emotional growth.
