- Gather students in a circle and introduce the theme of the lesson: expressing emotions and kindness through art.
- Discuss what emotions are and how we can show kindness to others.
- Show examples of heart-themed art pieces to inspire students.

Art Creation

- Distribute materials: construction paper, crayons, markers, glue sticks, scissors, stickers, and printable heart templates.
- Instruct students to create their own heart-themed art piece.
- Encourage them to think about a kind message or emotion they want to express through their art.
- Walk around to assist and encourage students as they work on their creations.

Sharing and Discussion

- Invite students to share their art pieces with the class.
- Ask them to explain the emotion or message of kindness they chose to express.
- Encourage positive feedback and appreciation among peers.
