Step 1
Introduction

- Show examples of haunted houses (real or drawn) to inspire students.
- Explain the activity: each student will create their own haunted house drawing using markers.
Step 2
Drawing Activity
30 mins
- Distribute drawing paper and markers to each student.
- Encourage students to think about spooky elements they can include in their haunted house (e.g., ghosts, bats, spider webs).
- Allow students to start drawing, offering guidance and encouragement as needed.
- Use a timer to add a game element: challenge students to add a new spooky feature every 5 minutes.
Step 3
Gallery Walk

- Once drawings are complete, have students display their artwork around the room.
- Organize a gallery walk where students can view each other's haunted houses.
- Encourage students to share what they like about each other's work.
- Gather students for a closing discussion.
- Ask students to share what they enjoyed about the activity and what they found challenging.
- Collect feedback on their favorite spooky elements they included in their drawings.
