Lesson Plan

Hands To Yourself Lesson Plan

Students will learn why keeping their hands to themselves matters by identifying safe vs unsafe touching, practicing self-control, and demonstrating respectful boundaries.

Teaching respectful boundaries and personal safety helps first graders develop self-regulation, empathy, and a positive classroom environment. Engaging activities reduce incidents of unsafe touching and build students’ confidence in setting and respecting limits.
