In this lesson, students will engage in a theater-style role-play to explore and practice growth mindset. They will learn to identify fixed mindset thoughts and transform them into growth mindset ones. Step 1

  • Ask students if they have ever felt like they couldn't do something and how they overcame it.

Role-Play Activity

  • Divide students into small groups and hand out scenario cards.
  • Each group will act out a scenario that involves a challenge or mistake.
  • Encourage students to identify fixed mindset thoughts in the scenario and transform them into growth mindset thoughts.
  • Walk around to assist and guide groups as needed.
