Step 1

Gratitude Meditation Script

  1. Sit comfortably and close your eyes.
  2. Take a deep breath in, and slowly exhale.
  3. Begin to focus on your breath, noticing the rise and fall of your chest.
  4. As you breathe, bring to mind something you are grateful for.
  5. Visualize this person, place, or thing, and feel the gratitude in your heart.
  6. Allow this feeling of gratitude to expand with each breath.
  7. If your mind wanders, gently bring your focus back to your breath and gratitude.
  8. Continue this practice for a few minutes, then slowly open your eyes.
