Step 1

Introduction

Step 2

5 minutes

  • Show a short video about gratitude (use any age-appropriate video available).
  • Encourage students to pay attention to how the characters show gratitude.

Discussion

5 minutes

  • Ask students what they saw in the video.
  • Use the Gratitude Discussion Questions to guide the conversation.
  • Encourage students to share times when they felt grateful.

Activity

  • Hand out paper and crayons to each student.
  • Ask them to draw something or someone they are grateful for.
  • Walk around and ask students to share their drawings and why they are grateful.
