Express gratitude through art

In this lesson, students will create an art project that represents things they are thankful for. This activity combines creativity with reflection, helping students express gratitude visually. Step 1

Introduction to Gratitude

  • Explain the importance of expressing gratitude and how it can positively impact our lives.

Step 2

Gratitude Brainstorming

10 mins

  • Distribute the Gratitude Brainstorming Worksheet.
  • Instruct students to list things they are thankful for, such as family, friends, nature, etc.
  • Encourage them to think about why they are grateful for these things.

Step 3

Art Creation

  • Provide art supplies to each student.
  • Instruct students to create an art piece that represents their gratitude list.
