Introduction to Goal Setting

Begin by asking students if they have ever set a goal before and discuss their experiences.

  • Illustrate with a few examples of goals (both short-term and long-term).
  • Discuss the benefits of setting goals, such as staying focused and motivated.

Steps to Set Goals

Introduce the steps to set realistic and achievable goals:

  1. Identify what you want to achieve: Be specific.
  2. Break it down: Divide the goal into smaller, manageable steps.
  3. Set a timeline: Decide when you want to achieve your goal.
  4. Think about the resources you need: What will help you achieve this goal?
