This lesson aims to help teenagers understand and practice goal-setting techniques, which are essential for both personal and academic success. Through practical exercises and discussions, students will learn how to create SMART goals and develop action plans to achieve them.   • Provide examples of SMART goals and non-SMART goals.
  • Engage students in a brief discussion about why each criterion is important.

Creating Personal SMART Goals

  • Distribute the 'Goal Setting Worksheet' to each student.
  • Guide students through the process of creating their own SMART goals using the worksheet.
