Understanding Goal Setting

In this lesson, students will explore the concept of goal setting and how it can enhance their self-management and self-awareness. 1st and 2nd Grade Goal Setting Activity

15 mins

  • Provide each 1st and 2nd grade student with a post-it note and a marker.
  • Ask them to think of a simple goal they want to achieve this week (e.g., reading a book, helping at home).
  • Have them write or draw their goal on the post-it note.
  • Allow students to share their goals with the class and stick their notes on a 'Goal Wall'.
