Step 1

  • Show the "Goal Setting Adventure Map" and explain that they will go on an adventure today to set their own goals.

Step 2

Adventure Activity

  • Hand out the "Goal Setting Adventure Map" printable to each student.
  • Explain the different areas on the map (e.g., Goal Island, Planning Path,Success Mountain) and how they relate to setting and achieving goals.
  • Guide students through each area on the map:
    • At Goal Island, students think about a simple goal they want to achieve (e.g., reading a book, learning to tie their shoes).
    • On Planning Path, students draw or write steps they can take to achieve their goal.
    • At Success Mountain, students imagine and draw a picture of themselves achieving their goal.
  • Use stickers to mark their progress on the map.

  • Encourage students to share their goals and the steps they plan to take.
