  • Read 'The Rainbow Fish' to the child, emphasizing the themes of sharing and friendship.
  • Discuss the story briefly, asking questions like 'How did the Rainbow Fish make friends?' and 'Why is sharing important?'.

Step 3

Friendship Circle Game

10 minutes

  • Arrange a small circle with the child and any available peers or adults.
  • Introduce the soft ball and explain that you'll be passing it around the circle.
  • Encourage the child to say 'Hi, my name is [Name]' when they receive the ball, and then pass it to the next person.
