One-Minute Micro-Lesson Guide
By the end of one minute, students will identify three harmful substances (alcohol, tobacco/vaping, misused medicine/inhalants) and chorally produce one refusal statement while naming one healthy alternative activity.
This rapid micro-lesson builds students’ awareness of common harmful substances, reinforces their impacts on lungs, brain, and judgment, and empowers 3rd graders with quick refusal skills and healthy choices.
