Lesson Plan

Feelings Detective Lesson Plan

Students will learn to identify and name four basic emotions—happy, sad, angry, and scared—through interactive storytelling, games, and discussion to build emotional awareness and social connection.

Recognizing and labeling emotions helps all kinders, including autistic learners, understand their feelings and develop self-regulation and empathy, laying a foundation for positive social interactions.
