Students will complete a pre-survey to assess their initial feelings and expectations regarding small group counseling, and a post-survey to reflect on their experiences and perceived growth after the sessions.

Prep

Review Materials and Prepare Digital Access

  • Review the Counseling Pre-Survey and Counseling Post-Survey content.
    - Ensure devices (computers, tablets) are available and charged for students.
    - Confirm access to the digital platform where surveys will be administered (e.g., Google Forms, school survey tool).
    - Prepare unique links or access codes for each survey, if applicable.

Step 1

Introduction to Pre-Survey (5 minutes)

  • Greet students and explain the purpose of the survey: to understand their current feelings and what they hope to gain from small group counseling.
    - Emphasize that responses are confidential and will help make the group as helpful as possible.
    - Provide clear instructions on how to access and complete the Counseling Pre-Survey digitally.
