Consider and identify school and personal values

In this lesson, students will explore and identify the school and personal values through interactive activities, discussions, and reflections. This lesson aims to help students understand the importance of values and how they can be incorporated into their daily lives both at school and personally.

  • Show the video Managing Peer Pressure.
  • Ask students to think about how the characters in the video displayed personal values.

Discussion: School and Personal Values

  • Use the discussion questions from the 'Personal and School Values' attachment.
  • Facilitate a group discussion about how students relate to these values and how they can apply them in school and personal life.

Reading: School Values

  • Distribute the 'School Values' reading handout.
  • Have students read and reflect on each school value.

Activity: Values Game

  • Divide students into small groups.
  • Provide each group with a set of value cards (printable cards from the attachment).
  • Instructions: Each group will draw a card and create a short skit demonstrating the value written on the card.
