Nature Walk & Scavenger Hunt

- Take the students on a nature walk around the school or local park.
- Use the scavenger hunt printable to identify and collect items.
- Encourage students to ask questions and observe carefully.
- Allow students to collect small, safe items to inspect later.
Step 3
Nature Journal Activity

- Once back in the classroom, distribute nature journals.
- Ask students to draw and write about what they found.
- Encourage them to use their senses to describe their experiences (e.g., sight, smell, touch).
- Share and discuss findings as a group.
- Recap what was learned during the nature walk.
- Ask students to share their favorite discovery.
