Step 1

Introduction

Career Exploration Activity

  1. Hand out the printable Career Cards to each student.
  2. Ask students to select a few careers that interest them the most.
  3. Distribute the Worksheet and have students fill out the questions based on the career cards they chose.
  4. Encourage students to pair up and discuss their chosen careers with a partner.

Class Discussion

Gather the students and lead a discussion using the provided Discussion Questions attachment. Allow students to share their findings and thoughts about different careers. Guide the discussion to highlight the importance of various skills and education needed for each profession.

Closure

Wrap up the lesson by summarizing what was learned about different careers. Encourage students to think about what careers they might be interested in pursuing in the future. Thank the students for their participation.
