Lesson Plan

Forecasting Feelings Plan

Students will accurately identify and label four core emotions—happy, sad, angry, scared—and link each to a physical cue or thought pattern to enhance self-awareness and communication.

Naming emotions builds self-management and resilience. By forecasting our internal “weather,” students gain tools to notice feelings early and choose healthy responses.
