Emotional Weather Report

Step 1

Step 2

Guided Activity

8 minutes

  • Distribute post-it notes and markers to each student.
  • Show the Printable Weather Cards and explain each weather condition (e.g., sunny, cloudy, stormy) as a metaphor for different emotions.
  • Ask students to think about how they are feeling right now and choose a weather condition that matches their emotion.
  • Have students draw or write their chosen weather condition on the post-it note.

Sharing and Reflection

  • Invite students to share their 'Emotional Weather Report' with the class or in small groups.
  • Encourage them to explain why they chose that particular weather condition.
