Step 1

Introduction

5 mins

  • Welcome the kids to the dance party
  • Briefly explain the importance of dancing for fitness and fun
  • Outline the session plan (warm-up, learn new moves, free dance, cool-down)
  • Emphasize creativity and having fun

Step 2

Warm-Up

10 mins

  • Guide the kids through a series of stretches to warm up their muscles
  • Play some light music to start getting them in the mood

Step 3

Learning New Dance Moves

10 mins

  • Teach the kids 3-4 simple dance moves (e.g., the Twist, the Floss, the Macarena)
  • Break down each move step-by-step
  • Encourage the kids to repeat the moves with music
