Recognize and prevent cyberbullying

In this lesson, students will learn about the dangers of cyberbullying, how to recognize it, and steps to prevent and report it. The lesson includes a video presentation and interactive discussion to engage students and emphasize the importance of online safety.

Step 1

Introduction

Begin by asking students if they've heard of the term 'cyberbullying.'
Explain that today's lesson will focus on understanding what cyberbullying is, its impact, and how to deal with it.

Video Viewing

Show the video Short Film: Cyber Bullying.
After the video, ask students for their initial reactions.

Step 3

Discussion

15 mins

Use the provided Discussion Guide to facilitate a conversation about the video and cyberbullying.
Encourage students to share their thoughts and personal experiences if they feel comfortable.

Activity

Distribute the Worksheet to students.
Ask students to complete the worksheet individually, and then discuss their answers as a group.
