Creating the Mood Meter

  • Distribute the Mood Meter printable cards to each student.
  • Explain the four quadrants of the Mood Meter: Red (high energy, unpleasant), Yellow (high energy, pleasant), Blue (low energy, unpleasant), Green (low energy, pleasant).
  • Have students color and label their Mood Meters according to the quadrants.
  • Encourage students to think of emotions that fit into each quadrant and write them down.
