Puppet Show Script

This script is for the puppet show where the counselor puppet explains their role to the students.

Counselor Puppet: Hi everyone! I’m your friendly school counselor. Do you know what I do at the school? [Pause for student responses] That’s right! I am here to help you with your feelings, problems, and questions. Do you ever feel sad or mad? [Pause for student responses] Well, you can come and talk to me! I have special tools, like feeling cards, to help you talk about your emotions. I also help you if you have a problem with a friend. We can talk about it and find a solution together. Does anyone have a question about my job? [Allow time for students to ask questions and respond accordingly] Remember, I’m here to help you feel safe and happy at school. Thanks for listening!
