Lesson Plan

Coping with No Plan

Students will learn and practice healthy strategies to manage frustration and disappointment when they’re told “no.” By exploring emotions and role-playing, they will build self-regulation skills, communicate feelings, and choose positive coping techniques.

Learning to handle denied requests calmly helps students reduce tantrums, improve peer interactions, and develop resilience. These emotional regulation skills support classroom harmony, foster empathy, and prepare children to handle everyday setbacks constructively.
