Resolving conflicts or problems with others

This lesson introduces 4th graders to basic conflict resolution skills through a short, interactive activity. 8 minutes

Divide students into small groups and provide each group with a conflict scenario card.
Instruct students to role-play the scenario, focusing on resolving the conflict using calm communication and empathy.
Circulate the room to offer guidance and support as needed.

Step 3

Closure

4 minutes

Bring the class back together and ask a few groups to share their scenarios and how they resolved them.
Discuss what strategies worked well and why.
Conclude with a quick reflection question: "What is one thing you learned about resolving conflicts today?"
