Lesson Plan

Conflict Crushers

Equip 9th–10th graders with practical conflict resolution skills—active listening, empathy, I-messages, and problem-solving—and guide them through eight interactive 25-minute sessions to resolve peer disputes constructively.

Teen peer conflicts can harm relationships and learning. Teaching structured resolution skills builds empathy, communication, and problem-solving, supporting healthier interactions and school climate.
