Lesson Plan

Cognitive Reframe

Students will learn to spot unhelpful “challenge thoughts” and use a four‐step Positive Reframe process—identifying evidence for and against—to craft balanced, growth‐focused perspectives with concrete action steps.

Reframing negative automatic thoughts builds resilience and self‐efficacy, empowering 9th graders to handle academic and personal transitions with confidence.
