This lesson plan is designed to provide K-3 students with a fun and relaxing Christmas-themed week. Each day features a different activity that encourages creativity, sensory exploration, and social interaction. The activities are designed to be engaging and enjoyable, helping students to unwind and celebrate the festive season in a nurturing environment.

Step 1
Introduction to Christmas Week

- Gather students in a circle and introduce the theme of the week: Christmas Fun and Relaxation.
- Discuss what Christmas means to them and what activities they enjoy during the holiday season.
- Explain the activities planned for the week and what they can look forward to.
Step 2
Day 1: Christmas Crafting

- Provide students with craft supplies to create Christmas decorations (e.g., paper snowflakes, ornaments).
- Encourage creativity and allow students to share their creations with the class.
- Display the crafts around the classroom to create a festive atmosphere.
Step 3
Day 2: Sensory Play with Slime

- Introduce students to making Christmas-themed slime (e.g., red and green colors, glitter).
- Allow students to explore the texture and have fun with the slime.
- Discuss how sensory play can be relaxing and enjoyable.

Day 3: Tasty Treats

- Provide graham crackers and marshmallow fluff for students to create their own Christmas treats.
- Guide them in making simple designs or structures (e.g., mini gingerbread houses).
