Lesson Plan

Race Against Time Overview

Students will collaborate to solve a series of timed tasks—first as a whole‐class challenge, then in rotating stations—to practice planning, time management, and flexible thinking under pressure.

Strengthening executive function skills like organization, time awareness, and cognitive flexibility is vital for 7th-grade special education students’ academic success and daily life management.
